Derrick Hall, left, CEO of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Ko Hyung-wook, general manager of the Kiwoom Heroes, pose for a The Kiwoom Heroes of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced Tuesday they have finalized a strategic partnership agreement with the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball.Heroes general manager Ko Hyung-wook and Diamondbacks CEO Derrick Hall met at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Monday (local time) for the signing ceremony. Both teams have set up spring training camps in Arizona.

The two clubs had reached their partnership deal in August last year, and a senior official from the Diamondbacks had been set to visit Seoul to officially sign the deal on Sept. 8, 2023. However, the ceremony didn’t take place as scheduled because of other commitments, and Ko and Hall finally met this week.The Heroes said the two teams still engaged in exchange programs well before the ceremony. In August last year, employees of the Diamondbacks’ research and development department joined the Heroes scouts to watch KBO regular season games. Then in January this year, some members of the Heroes’ coaching staff took part in the Diamondbacks’ training camp.”We’d like to thank the Diamondbacks for this great opportunity,슬롯게이밍 ” Ko said. “I hope this partnership will help lay the foundation for success for both clubs.
