Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Shohei Ohtani extended his hitting streak to three games despite a slump that saw him strike out three times.
Ohtani batted second in the lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday (July 7) at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. Ohtani went 1-for-6 with a walk and a run scored, dropping his season batting average from 3-for-2 to 3-for-8.

The Dodgers beat Pittsburgh 11-7 to snap a two-game losing streak. Starter Walker Buehler was tagged for four runs (three earned) on seven hits (one homer) with one walk and three strikeouts in three innings, but the offense helped him earn the no-decision.
