Kim Jin-young joins CheongKwanJang
Professional basketball player Anyang Jeong Kwan-jang announced on the 5th that he had agreed to a trade with Seoul Samsung to exchange one player each.
Director Jeong Gwan-jang decided to recruit Kim Jin-young (25, 193 cm) instead of giving Kim Jin-yong (29, 200 cm) to Samsung.
Kim Jin-young, who will wear the Cheong Kwan-Jang uniform, was selected third overall in the 2019 rookie draft and is the son of former national team center Kim Yu-taek.
He played only two games last season, and recorded 4.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in the 2022-2023 season.
Kim Jin-yong left Goyang Sono two days ago and was traded to Jeong Kwan-jang, but then changed his affiliation again to Samsung.
Jeong Kwan-jang also carried out a trade to send center Kim Cheol-wook (31, 202 cm) to Daegu Korea Gas Corporation and recruit guard Lee Won-dae (33, 183 cm).
