Seoul Eland FC is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with a variety of fan-friendly marketing activities.

In March, the club held a 10th anniversary game and invited fans to have a special time, especially founding member Kim Young-gwang, who has been a season ticket holder for 10 consecutive years and a member of the Honors Club for 22 years, and held a ceremony with fans who have supported the club for 22 years.

The team also launched the On-Field Program, an on-field experience to interact with fans. The names of all the Founders’ Club members, the first season ticket holders, are engraved on the player entrance gate, and it is used as a photo zone to watch the players warm up before every game.

In addition, fans’ voices were actively reflected in the revitalization of cheering culture by recording their own cheers together and establishing a new cheering area, the “Exciting Zone,” in the stadium.

A special 10th anniversary video featuring many of the founding members, including Kim Young-kwang and Kim Jae-sung, will also be released soon.

Seoul Eland FC was selected as the first nominee for the 2024 Fan Friendly Club Award, which recognizes the most fan-friendly club in the K League.

Fans have also responded positively to the club’s aggressive marketing efforts, as it is ‘serious’ about being fan-friendly.

The 10th anniversary jerseys surpassed the sales of the previous year’s jerseys within two months of their release, and admission revenue for the first round robin home matches (six matches) increased by about 80% compared to the total admission revenue for the entire previous year.

A representative from Seoul Eland FC said, “For our 10th anniversary, we organized a surprise event to reward our fans for their support. Since its founding in 2014, Seoul Eland FC’s motto has always been ‘The No. 1 Fan-Friendly Club’. We will continue to plan more fan-friendly programs with the attitude that we will always be with our fans, who are the reason for our existence.”
