Noh Si-hwan (22-Hanwha Eagles) fired up his 28th cannon of the season to lead the league in home runs.

Noh blasted a home run in his first at-bat against the NC Dinos of the 2023 KBO League at Changwon NC Park on Friday.

Facing NC’s new foreign selection, left-hander Tanner Tully (28), Noh pulled a high fastball (143 kilometers per hour) over the left-field fence with two outs in the second inning. It traveled 105 meters.

Tanner could barely contain his emotions after the home run, and Noh took the time to come into the dugout and draw a heart for the broadcast cameras.

With his 28th home run of the season (77 RBIs), Noh moved into sole possession of first place on the home run list, seven behind Choi (21 – SSG Landers). In the first nine games of August, he hit seven home runs. He’s well on his way to reaching the 30-homer plateau, a number that signals complete dominance.

Even with Noh leading the league in home runs and RBIs, Hanwha drew NC for the sixth time this season in a game that went into the 12th inning, becoming the team with the most draws of the season.

Meanwhile, Tanner, who joined NC as a replacement for the released Taylor and Widener, gave up three runs on six hits (two homers) with four strikeouts and 카지노 no walks in six innings in his KBO debut.

Tanner, who didn’t get a win, but had a quality start, was praised for his aggressive delivery, throwing 86 pitches for 60 strikes. The fastball that gave up the home run to Noh and Williams was criticized for lacking velocity and power.
